Jerry Gammel earned a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy degree at Mississippi State University in 1992. He joined Watkins, Ward and Stafford in 1998 and was admitted as a member of the firm on May 1, 2017.

Jerry is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

With more than seventeen years experience, Jerry's practice is concentrated in healthcare, not for profit audits and employee benefit audits.

His community involvement includes serving as president of Mount Vernon Cemetery Committee.

Jerry is an active member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church.

He is married to Sherry Gammel, and they have three daughters, Makenna, Destinee, and Callie.
