Mara Cox earned her Bachelors of Accountancy from Mississippi State University in 2017 and her Masters of Professional Accountancy from University of Southern Mississippi in 2018.  She worked at a local accounting firm in Natchez before joining Watkins, Ward, and Stafford.  Originally from Diamondhead, Mississippi, she moved to Starkville in 2019 when she married her husband Craig Cox, a native of Starkville.  Mara is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Starkville.
