J. Randy Scrivner earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Delta State University in 1986. Randy joined Watkins, Ward and Stafford in 1987 and admitted to the partnership in 2001.

Randy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants. He holds licenses as a Certified Public Accountant in both the states of Mississippi and Alabama.

With more than thirty years experience, Randy's practice is concentrated in business, medical and agriculture taxation, consulting, and management advisory services and governmental and non-profit audits.

He is very involved in the Starkville community having served in both leadership and as a member of various boards and civic organizations. He is still involved in local sports as a volunteer coach/mentor.

Randy is a member of Starkville First Baptist Church where he has served as deacon, chairman of the Finance/Stewardship Ministry Team, Hospitality Committee, Discipleship Training Leader, and Youth Sunday School teacher.

He is married to Michele Lilly Scrivner, originally of Clarksdale, Mississippi, and they have one son, Landon, and one daughter, Peyton.
