Robin Y. McCormick earned a Bachelor of Accountancy at the University of Mississippi in 1980. She holds the designation of Personal Financial Specialist as well as Certified Public Accountant. Robin joined Watkins, Ward and Stafford in 1989 and was admitted to the partnership in 2000.

Robin's professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Robin's community involvement includes serving on the Boards of Directors of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Mississippi (Finance Committee Chairman), CREATE Foundation (Past Chair), the Golden Triangle Regional Airport Authority (Chair), and Old Waverly Homeowners' Association (Secretary/Treasurer). She serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the West Point Community Foundation and is an active member and past president of West Point Rotary Club. Her past service includes Dugan Memorial Nursing Home and the Henry Clay Retirement Community (President), Oak Hill Academy (Treasurer), and the Executive Board of the Pushmataha Council of Boys Scouts. Robin is a life member of Junior Auxiliary of West Point and West Point Home and Garden Club.

With more than 25 years experience, Robin's practice is concentrated in advisory and accounting services for businesses and non-profits, as well as taxation for individuals, businesses, trusts, estates and non-profits.

Robin is an active member of First United Methodist Church, West Point, Mississippi, where she has served on the Administrative Council, Finance Committee, Committee on Nominations, Visioning Team,  and currently serves as Chair of the Staff Parish Relations Committee.

She has one son, Cary, and one daughter, Meg.
