Wanda S. Ellis earned a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy degree at Mississippi State University in 1983.  She joined Watkins, Ward and Stafford in 1984.

Wanda is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants.

With more than thirty-two years of experience, Wanda’s practice in concentrated in tax – individual, corporate, partnerships, exempt organizations, fiduciary, gift and estate; management advisory services – governmental and for-profit; and governmental audits – public schools, counties, municipalities, public utilities, and non-profits.

Her community involvement includes serving as Secretary/Treasurer of Okolona Country Club, Secretary/Treasurer of South Pontotoc Shooters Club, past Board Member of Okolona Area Chamber of Commerce, past Treasurer of Okolona Community Civitan Club, Member of Okolona Area Chamber of Commerce, Pontotoc Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, South Pontotoc Softball and Basketball Booster Clubs.

Wanda is an active member of West Heights Baptist Church of Pontotoc and has served as Assistant Sunday School Teacher.

She is married to Frankie Ellis and they have one son, Frank Ellis, three daughters, Wendy Ellis Rogers, Christy Ellis and Kinzi Ellis, and five grandchildren.
