Cal Rackley graduated Summa Cum Laude with Bachelor of Accountancy and Master of Taxation degrees from Mississippi State University in 2007 and 2009 respectively. He joined Watkins, Ward and Stafford in 2006 and was admitted as a member of the firm on May 1, 2014.

Cal is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants. He was awarded the Silas M. Simmons Award for outstanding achievement on the 2009 CPA Examination.

With 16 years of experience, Cal's practice is concentrated in income tax preparation and planning, business accounting and advisory services, and business and non-profit audit/review services. He has extensive experience is working with a wide array of clients including individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and non-profit organizations. He is also licensed to practice in Florida in addition to Mississippi.

Cal served as an officer of a number of student organizations during his time at Mississippi State and continues to be involved in the local community. He currently serves as the treasurer of both the Starkville Country Club and the Starkville Sigma Chi Alumni and as a board member of the MSU Adkerson School of Accountancy Advisory Council, Renasant Community Board, and Starkville Academy Investment Committee. Cal also enjoys volunteering as a coach for youth baseball, basketball, football and soccer. He formerly served as a board member of the Memorial Gardens Park Cemetery and as an advisor of Sigma Chi Fraternity.

Cal is an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Starkville where he currently serves as a member on the budget and finance committee and financial advisor to the church preschool. He has previously served in the role of both elder and deacon as well as other various committee and mission roles.

He is married to Laura Crawford Rackley and is the proud father of their three children, Addison, James and Anna.
